Early 2017 - Ushuaïa, Argentina
Following our research trip in 2016, we will soon be offering a two weeks photo adventure aboard a 20m expedition yacht, sailing around Cape Horn and exploring the remote Beagle Channel and the southern Cordillera Darwin. Look for more information on Vertical Shot Expeditions.
UPDATE: due to new rules by the Chilean Navy, commercial vessels are currently not allowed in the Beagle Channel. With no information as to how long this situation is going to last, this workshop will unfortunately be postponed until further notice.
Alpine Photography Clinics, Chamonix Arc'ademy
June 16-19, 2016 - Chamonix, France
As in 2013 and 2015, I will be offering two 24h clinics on alpine photography during the Arc'teryx Alpine Arc'ademy festival in Chamonix. We will most likely head to the Lac Blanc area to shoot landscapes, hiking and running images and spend the night in one of the most beautiful locations of the Alps. We will photograph the sunrise the next morning, then will head down to town for an editing session.
Details, booking and pricing on the Arc'ademy website.
Photographing whales and wild Canadian landscapes by kayak
July 23-31, 2015 - Port Hardy, Canada
There is a place in Canada where the killer whale population is significantly denser than anywhere else on Earth. To make matters even better, there is also an abundance of humpback whales, dolphins, sea lions, porpoises, eagles and seals. This place is called the Johnstone Strait and it is situated near the northern tip of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. The strait is dotted with pristine forested islands, on which we will be camping for a full week of photography, whale watching and exploration by kayaks.
No prior kayaking experience is required, though a basic level of fitness will be necessary to sustain a week of 3-6h of paddling every day.
Details, booking and pricing on the workshop page.
